Recently, a customer from Malaysia customized a two-story Flat Pack Container House from TOPINDUS to be used as a modern double-story office building.

This project consists of multiple flat pack container units that are assembled and connected together to create a larger working space. During installation, the container modules are joined side by side, and the interior walls between certain units are removed to create a spacious, open office layout without obstructions in the middle. This design greatly increases the available office area and provides a comfortable environment for employees.

To enhance both functionality and aesthetics, the extended corridor between the office spaces is designed with panoramic glass panels. The full-view glass corridor allows natural light to enter the building, creating a bright and welcoming workspace. At the same time, the structure is well sealed to provide excellent wind and rain protection, ensuring that the corridor remains comfortable and practical in various weather conditions.

Another key feature of this project is the internal staircase design. Instead of placing the stairs outside the building, the staircase is installed inside the container structure, allowing convenient movement between the first and second floors while protecting users from rain and strong sunlight. This interior staircase layout also makes the building more suitable for different environments and improves overall safety and usability.

Are container homes durable?
